Meet Crash

When I was eleven years old, my father left home. My mother handed me his old nylon-string guitar and a chord book and told me I’d better learn because she wasn’t about to stop singing around the kitchen table. Without realizing it, she changed the course of my life.

She called me “Crash” because, as a kid, I ran into just about everything that could be run into. After she passed away, the nickname became something more than a childhood story. It became a reminder of the woman who first gave me the gift of music and showed me that it could carry me through all of life’s seasons—even the most bitter.

Over the years, music has carried me through love and loss, introduced me to lifelong friends, and given me a way to connect with people I’d never met before. Every song I play has become part of my own story, collected from family, friends, strangers, and the places I’ve called home.

Now based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, I perform a mix of Americana, folk, country, timeless covers, and original songs that invite people to slow down, listen, and remember.

My hope is simple: to leave every audience feeling like they’ve been sitting around the kitchen table sharing songs with an old friend.
